Evacuations in New Mexico as Combined Wildfires Spread
New evacuation orders were issued on May 3 for the communities of Chachon and West Holman in Mora County, New Mexico, as two wildfires burned.
Footage posted by Rep Roger Montoya on Tuesday shows a large plume of grey smoke rising from the Hermits Peak and Calf Canyon fires.
The footage caption said Montoya was assisting with evacuations in Chacon.
