Evacuations Continue Near Flagstaff as Pipeline Fire Surpasses 20,000 Acres

Evacuations continued near Flagstaff, Arizona, on Tuesday, June 14, as the Pipeline fire grew beyond 20,000 acres, officials said.

This footage was captured by Calvin Johnson, who said it was taken from the Observatory Mesa in Flagstaff on Monday evening. Johnson told Storyful that conditions were “breezy” in the area on Tuesday morning.

On Monday evening, Flagstaff Mayor Paul Deasy declared a state of emergency for the area.
