Evacuation Warning Issued as McCash Fire Grows in Klamath National Forest

Officials in Siskiyou County, California, issued an evacuation warning as the McCash Fire burning in the Klamath National Forest grew to over 38,000 acres on August 31.

This footage, posted by Six Rivers National Forest on Twitter, shows air operations being carried out on the fire.

The fire was at 1 percent containment with 443 personnel deployed as of Tuesday.

The Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office issued an evacuation warning for several areas on the county on Tuesday, advising that the warning could become an evacuation order.
