Evacuation Orders Lifted as San Diego Fire Stops Spreading

A fire that had threatened homes in the San Diego suburb of El Cajon on the night of December 2-3 had stopped spreading by the early hours, CAL Fire San Diego said. The fire was 5 percent contained, they said, and had destroyed one structure.
