Eva Mendes Thanks Ryan Gosling for "Holding Down the Fort" for Her Night Out
The actress has a fashionable night out with a little help from her husband.
Eva Mendes has had nothing but praise to give her husband, Ryan Gosling, in recent weeks — and the love parade continued via Instagram on March 14 with another post that saw the actress shouting out her man.
"La Dolce Evita Made possible by….@dolcegabbana," Mendes shared in a video of her dressed in a black and white Dolce and Gabbana ensemble with sheer overlay details. "And by my man for holding down the fort at home so I could live the Dolce Evita for a couple days."
Before and after the Oscars on March 10, fans of the couple received two posts from Mendes — she shared a picture of her backstage at the award show next to Gosling's dressing room, which she captioned, "Always by my man," and shared a second post after the Oscars of her wearing the studded hot pink jacket Gosling wore during his performance of "I'm Just Ken." She captioned the image, "You took Ken all the way to the Oscars, RG. Now come home. We need to put the kids to bed."
Gosling also had nothing but sweet things to say about Mendes and their two daughters earlier in the week, revealing that they were a large source of inspiration for his Oscars performance and taking on his role as Ken in Barbie.

"They gave me some tips and some notes, all great notes," Gosling told People. "They are such a huge part of this for me...it was my girl's interest in Barbie and disinterest in Ken that got me into this in the first place. It was beautiful to have them there at the end."
