Eva Amurri Claps Back at Critics 'Scandalized' by Her Breasts in Bustier Wedding Dress: See Her Response

Eva Amurri won't let anyone rain on her parade — not even the haters.

In fact, she would like to invite anyone who has an issue with her wedding dress to look at it a little closer, because she loves it.

Amurri, the daughter of Susan Sarandon and director Franco Amurri, wed chef Ian Hock on June 29 in a gorgeous strapless Kim Kassas gown. While recapping her big day (which she shared exclusively with PEOPLE) on her Instagram Stories on June 30, the actress and lifestyle blogger wrote over a photo with her new husband, "to anyone scandalized by my breasts not being 'put away' ...."

"Feel free to screenshot this for later," Amurri, 39, added over a zoomed-in shot of her chest with a kissy face emoji.

Amurri's dress was a corseted design that she purchased at Bridal Reflections in New York City. “I love how it has a vintage feel and is ultra feminine without being overly pouffy,” she told PEOPLE. “I wanted to feel sexy but elegant, and I think the dress strikes the perfect balance.”

She paired it with a dramatic veil that pooled around her and only amplified the glamour.

The wedding, which was held at Windrift Hall in New York's Hudson Valley, was held in front of 40 guests — and plenty of rain, Amurri also revealed on her Instagram Stories. She wrote on social media that they had to adjust their ceremony at the last minute and the hairstyle she spent two hours on ended up being "moot."

But she didn't care because everything ended up being exactly how it should have been. She also joked that everyone's skin looked beautiful in the rain.

Her wedding was a French garden party theme (and her mom even played into that theme with a floral suit from SuitShop!). They used lots of "natural colors" throughout the decor, as well, to keep it feeling whimsical yet earthy. The couple also wanted to keep the whole day fairly low-key and intimate.

“We wanted to write our own love letters to each other to read as vows, which was so special for us,” she told PEOPLE. “We also didn’t have any bridal party besides the kids, and it was perfect. Major [her son] walked me down the aisle, which was an experience I’ll never forget.”

All three of Amurri's children — daughter Marlowe Mae, 9, and sons Major James, 7, and Mateo Antoni, 4, whom she shares with ex-husband Kyle Martino — were involved in the ceremony. She had all three of her children participate in “hand fasting” with ribbons they had selected with her and Hock.

After the ceremony, she changed into a second look: a minidress by Kim Kassas with feather trim, floral lace and sparkles. "I paired it with custom Nike Air Force Ones that were embellished with pearls and our wedding date. It felt like Priscilla Presley-meets-street style!”
