Eugene Levy Reunites with Jason Biggs 25 Years After “American Pie” at Walk of Fame Ceremony: 'My Second Son'
Eugene Levy starred as Jason Biggs's onscreen dad in the raunchy 'American Pie' movies
It's a Levenstein family reunion!
As Eugene Levy appeared on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles Friday for his Hollywood Walk of Fame star ceremony, the actor and comedian, 77, acknowledged his American Pie costar Jason Biggs, who was in attendance.
"My son Daniel couldn't be here today, sadly. He's shooting a movie in Bulgaria, and tell me that doesn't sound like an episode right out of Schitt's Creek, but it's true. My second son, Jim, is here, from American Pie," Levy said during his speech.
"I love the fact you're here, Jason, honestly," he added of Biggs, 45.
Levy portrayed the father of Biggs's American Pie character Jim in the raunchy franchise's original 1999 entry and has kept with the role for many of the sequels over the years, most recently appearing in 2012's American Reunion.
Levy and Biggs also starred with Alyson Hannigan, Chris Klein, Natasha Lyonne, Thomas Ian Nicholas, Seann William Scott and Tara Reid, among others, in the series. The original follows high school students' attempts to lose their virginity before graduation.

"If you know me at all, you know just how uncomfortable a day this is for me knowing you have all uprooted your schedules to be here," Levy joked as he addressed the crowd gathered for his ceremony.
"In particular my grandson, my little grandson James — he could be looking at firetrucks right now, but no. He chose to be here, so thank you, Jamesy. Grandpa loves you."
Eugene's real-life son Dan, 40, recently joked during an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show that his high school classmates thought the American Pie movies may have been based on his own life given his father's role in the series.
"For most of my high-school life, people thought the movie was, like, a biography of my life," Dan said. "Which is really unfortunate, because I would've killed to have had a life that interesting. There were no pies — I don't even know about the ingredients of an apple pie, but that's a whole other conversation."
