Esma Daniel tied the knot for the third time
22 May – Esma Daniel recently announced that he is married anew.
The actor shared the good news on social media on 20 May, with several photos from the ceremony, writing, "Praise be to God, I have ended my single life by marrying Nuratira Mazlan."
In an interview with the media, the 54-year-old stated that his wife is a 31-year-old bank worker of whom he met via social media.
"At the time, the government had just executed the movement control order. After it was eased up, we started going on dates. That is where I saw how much we match even though she is younger than me," he said.
Esma stated that it wasn't that he had never dated a woman his own age, but that it didn't last.
Prior to his new marriage, Esma was married twice. The first one was with actress Sherie Merlis, which ended after five years. The two have two children together. He later tied the knot with Nitra Sari Omar in 2002, but it ended in 2016.
The marriage bore them six kids overall.
