Emotional Reunion After Man Pulled From Rubble Day After Deadly Earthquake

Rescue operations continued in Syria as the death toll from a powerful earthquake across the border in Turkey passed 750, according to state-run media.

Footage shared by the Syrian Civil Defense shows a man being pulled from the rubble of his five-story house and emotionally reuniting with loved ones in the village of Meles, Syria.

The Syrian Civil Defense said rescue efforts were continuing “amid great difficulties” and predicted the death toll would rise significantly as hundreds were trapped under rubble, according to a machine translation.
