Emmys 2023: TVLine Readers Pick Who Should Win in 10 Key Categories
And the Emmys will hypothetically go to… Succession, The Last of Us and Wednesday! That is, if TVLine readers have any say in the proceedings.

Last month, we polled you on the shows and actors you think should win at the Jan. 15 Emmy ceremony, and all three of the aforementioned series were well-loved in the poll results. But there was one drama category where neither Succession nor The Last of Us triumphed in your votes; in fact, the theoretical winner for Supporting Actress in a Drama Series doesn’t hail from HBO at all. (Imagine!)
Meanwhile, on the comedy front, Hulu’s first course of The Bear and the maybe-final season of Apple TV+’s Ted Lasso were also among your picks.
Some fun facts, before we get to the results: The Supporting Actor in a Drama category featured the biggest runaway victory, with Succession‘s Matthew Macfadyen earning a whopping 41.5% of the vote (and 26 percentage points separating him and the runner-up, The White Lotus‘ Theo James). On the flip side, the narrowest margin came from the Supporting Actor in a Comedy race, where The Bear‘s Ebon Moss-Bachrach eked out a win over Ted Lasso‘s Phil Dunster by one percentage point. One!
Of course, this is all speculation. For the real winners of this year’s (well, last year’s) Emmys, you’ll have to watch the live ceremony airing Monday, Jan. 15, at 8/7c on Fox; black-ish vet Anthony Anderson will host.
