Emma Raducanu is now the youngest Briton to win a Grand Slam title after her US Open victory. The 18-year-old tennis pro beat Canadian Leylah Fernandez in straight sets on Saturday in New York City. She takes home the £1.8m in prize money and is still deciding what’s next in her career. Emma is the first British female to win at Flushing Meadows since Virginia Wade in 1968. The Queen was among those who congratulated her on the historic win calling it a ‘remarkable achievement’. Raducanu is the youngest female Grand Slam champion since Maria Sharapova at Wimbledon in 2004. Raducanu is the first qualifier ever to win a Grand Slam title .
