Celebrity Juice recently confirmed that I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! star Emily Atack had finally been made a team captain, years after fans suggested that she'd perfect for the role while seeing her jungle antics.

But now that she's been given the job, she might be slightly regretting it, as she tweeted that her first day on the job was pretty messy.

"I'm covered in manure and passata sauce...." she wrote on her Twitter page. "First day as team captain on @CelebJuice!!!"

We're not sure that it's actual manure, but then you never know with this show...

Emily Atack isn't the only new team captain on Celebrity Juice, as Love Island 2020 presenter Laura Whitmore was announced at the same time.

The changes have come about after This Morning host Holly Willoughby confirmed she was quitting the panel show after 12 years as a captain back in May, while Spice Girl Mel B (who replaced Paddy McGuinness, who replaced Fearne Cotton) departed the show earlier this year too.

The Celebrity Juice team captain role isn't the only job that Emily Atack has landed on ITV2 this year, as the channel has given her her own sketch show, imaginatively titled The Emily Atack Show.

She said at the time of announcement that: "I want to create and write a sketch show that gives snapshots into the weird and hilarious world of everyday life as a young (ish) person.

"I can guarantee whatever age you are you will relate in some way! It's a dream come true, since I was a child this is the kind of television I've wanted to make and be part of. I can't quite believe it."

Celebrity Juice and The Emily Atack Show are set to air later year on ITV2.
