The Myanmar ambassador to the UK was seen outside the London embassy as he claimed he had been locked out on April 7, amid reports his position had been terminated by Myanmar’s military regime.
Footage here shows Ambassador Kyaw Zwar Minn outside the embassy. Zwar Minn is heard telling police “this is our embassy” and “you are covering the wrong people.”
When asked if he had been locked out, he answered, “yes.” A statement read on behalf of the ambassador said the embassy had “been seized by the military attache.”
Zwar Minn’s post was terminated on Wednesday, the Independent reported citing officials.
