Elva Ni registers marriage and reveals January wedding
22 Sep – Elva Ni revealed that she and partner Vincent Ng are officially husband and wife.
As reported on Mingpao, the model-actress shared the good news on social media with a series of photos of them at their secret wedding, which Elva revealed had actually been held at the Haiku Mill in Hawaii back in January this year.
Said Elva, they were originally planning to hold another wedding banquet in Hong Kong following their destination wedding, and to finally reveal their little secret, but that the pandemic had disrupted their plans.
As to why they are only registering their marriage in Hong Kong now, Elva said that she wanted to wait for her parents to fly from Canada and witness the signing ceremony, which is why they had been postponing the plan time and time again.
"But the pandemic situation has not improved for a long time. In the end, they could only witness it online, otherwise it would not be signed until the baby is born," she said.
She also thanked her husband for the dream wedding, saying that Hawaii has always been her favourite island.
