Given her penchant for posting bikini shots, one could argue that every season is swimsuit season for Elizabeth Hurley. But the English actress — who, fittingly, moonlights as a swimwear designer — is officially ushering in summer with yet another striking shoot.

'All hail swimsuit season," Hurley, 56, captioned a shot of herself wearing a snakeskin-print swimsuit from her Elizabeth Hurley Beach collection. The one-piece suit features gold chainlink straps and a plunging neckline.

The photo drew praise from the likes of actresses Thandiwe Netwon and Patsy Kensit, both of whom responded with a series of flame emojis.

While many of the star's male followers left their own comments calling her "gorgeous" and an "ageless beauty," Hurley has said that it's her female fans who have inspired her to keep wearing bikinis into her 50s. The Austin Powers actress will turn 57 on June 10.

"I've always had more female followers than male; I've always really loved that," Hurley told Yahoo Life last year. "And I think women definitely like that I'm not hiding just because I'm over 50. Everybody still goes on holiday or goes to the beach or needs to swim. And I just think it's pretty tough if women think they have to cover up because we're not in our 20s anymore and perfect. Of course, once you're older, you think everybody's perfect who's younger than you. I think people respond well to that."

It doesn't hurt that she has her own swimwear label.

"Everyone knows what I'm doing: I'm selling bikinis," she added. "I'm not saying, 'don't I look fabulous, everyone, this is how I am' — I'm selling a bikini."
