Elephant buddy helps push-start a stranded truck in Sri Lanka

A friendly elephant helped push-start a truck stuck on a rural road in Sri Lanka. The incident happened on a road going through Habarana, a forest area in the Central North province area of the country. As the vehicle's battery had died, the driver couldn't start the engine. While he waited for a push-start, an elephant was passing by and saw the stranded truck. The clever beast then pushed the vehicle, apparently in an effort to get it moving. At first the vehicle didn't start so the elephant pushed the vehicle a second time, starting the truck. The kindly elephant then simply walked off.
