Eiffel Tower Reopens With Restrictions in Paris

The Eiffel Tower in Paris reopened with “strict health measures” on June 25, more than three months after France went into lockdown.

Strict social distancing guidelines were put in place for the reopening and visitors aged 11 and older were mandated to wear a face mask, according to the Eiffel Tower website. A limited number of visitors are allowed in at one time and the lift was not due to reopen until June 30, according to the website.

The top floor remained closed, with a plan to “open later during the summer, depending on how the situation evolves,” the attraction said.
