Eiffel Tower Goes Dark in Solidarity With Beirut

The Eiffel Tower went dark at midnight on August 6, in solidarity with Beirut after a catastrophic explosion in the city two days previously.

At least 137 people were confirmed killed by August 6, with around 5,000 wounded.
