Egypt’s former president Hosni Mubarak was buried in Cairo with military honors on February 26 amid heightened security.
After 30 years in power, Mubarak was forced out of office during the Arab uprising of 2011. Mubarak died on February 25 at the age of 91.
According to local reports, the government declared three days of national mourning starting from February 26.
