These students are streaming performances in sign language
to cater to people with impaired hearing
Location: Cairo, Egypt
The initiative is called Et3lmo Eshara
which is Arabic for "learn sign language"
and aims to make entertainment more accessible
to people living with auditory disabilities

"We plan on translating everything, films, songs, short stories, and prophets' stories. We plan on translating everything. We plan on giving events like this all the time."
The group also wants to spread awareness on the importance
of including the hearing impaired in all social activities

"We are telling people to be more tolerant, that these people are part of our community. They have the right to see things on television and whatnot. So we are trying to help them."
