Edward Barber and Maymay Entrata wants to maintain friendship
6 Apr – Although fans would love for their onscreen partnership to turn into real life romance, Edward Barber recently stated that he and Maymay Entrata would remain just friends.
On 5 April, the actor shared their said decision in a letter posted on social media recently, saying that the two of them realised that being in a relationship is not something to be taken lightly.
He wrote, "I hope all you will understand. We both realised that the two of us are still very young and there is so much that we want to achieve in our lives. We both agree there is no need to rush into anything. This means not having a romantic relationship between us at this point."
"We also realised that being the best of friends will even be more beneficial for us," he added, saying that they would be more comfortable working together by being best buddies.
However, Barber stressed that they will continue to work together, as "there's no one else we would rather work with than each other."
