Edinburgh deploys huge security operation ahead of Queen's procession

Edinburgh's police officers and security teams deployed an impressive security operation as hundreds of locals and tourists gathered in the city to pay their respect to the Queen on Sunday (September 11). The Queen passed away at her Balmoral estate in Aberdeenshire and her coffin is now on the way to Edinburgh for a special ceremony before being taken to St Giles' Cathedral on Monday. It is thought that the Queen will lie in state for 24 hours before being taken back to London.
