Dwayne Johnson Brings Daughters Jasmine and Tiana to Make-A-Wish Visit in Hawaii: ‘Two Little Tornadoes’
“I do my best to never get emotional in these moments,” the ‘Moana 2’ actor said of the touching experience
Dwayne Johnson shared a heartfelt and “very emo” moment with his two youngest daughters during an “extra special” trip to Hawaii.
On Sunday, Nov. 24, the actor, 52, posted a video on Instagram of a recent experience he had with the nonprofit organization Make-A-Wish, which sets out to fulfill wishes of children diagnosed with a critical illness.
Johnson brought his daughters Jasmine Johnson, 8, and Tiana Johnson, 6 – whom he shares with his wife, Lauren Hashian – with him as he paid a special visit to five beneficiaries of the charity.
"I do my best to never get emotional in these moments, but I do get very emo watching this stuff back," he captioned the video.
The Moana star went on to say that it was an "honor" to "grant wishes" for the nonprofit. He also noted that it was "extra special" that his "two little tornadoes" wanted to join him.
Johnson shared that he arranged transportation for the five children and their families to meet him and attend the Moana 2 world premiere in Hawaii on Thursday, Nov. 21.

"What a beautiful day meeting these kids. Their strength and resilience inspires EVERYONE around them — including me," the actor added. "To all their moms, dads & siblings who I met — I feel it in every hug and handshake. I know. Stay strong."
He ended his touching post with a shout-out to his "amazing partners" at Make-A-Wish, saying that these experiences are the "best part of fame."
The video shows Johnson, Jasmine and Tiana as they meet with some of the Make-A-Wish families and hear their personal stories. In it, the former wrestler also receives a few gifts from the children, including a handmade clay necklace in the shape of his Moana character Maui’s fish hook.
Johnson also shares his daughter Simone, 23, with ex-wife Dany Garcia.
The actor was joined by his three daughters and his wife at the Hawaii premiere of the movie, which took place in Oahu. He posed on the red carpet with the four and his mom, Ata.
The whole crew rocked floral leis around their necks on the carpet. His younger two girls wore matching orange, pink and yellow tie-dye dresses, while his oldest wore a long floral dress and a pendant choker.
Johnson hit up the carpet in a light blue suit, while his wife wore an elegant dark green dress, and his mom was in a black and orange patterned ensemble.

The movie sequel reunites that titular character and Maui three years later for a new ocean-sweeping adventure. “After receiving an unexpected call from her wayfinding ancestors, Moana must journey to the far seas of Oceania and into dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike anything she’s ever faced,” per the film's synopsis.
Moana 2 arrives in theaters on Wednesday, Nov. 27.
