Dust Storms Sweep Across American Great Plains

Dust storms rolled across portions of the US Great Plains amid powerful winds on December 15.

The NOAA recorded gusts between 80 to 90 mph in some areas. The National Weather Service reported a new highest gust record of 90 mph for the Texas and Oklahoma Panhandles.
