The Pumpkin and Apple Cider Donuts aren’t the only the only ones making fall better at Dunkin’. You might want to grab a glass of milk, because the coffee chain has introduced a new Spicy Ghost Pepper Donut that is equal parts trick and treat.
The ring donut comes with Spicy Ghost Pepper Strawberry Dipping Icing, according to a picture on Reddit, so that’s where you’ll find the heat. It’s complete with Red Sanding Sugar that’s very fine. Don’t worry if you’re not into the whole spicy-sweet combination, because Dunkin’ has other options to let you celebrate Halloween.
The specialty Spider Donut is back for another year, and we’re not surprised — it’s so festive! The ring donut is dipped in dark orange icing and drizzled with chocolate icing to make the spider’s legs. A glazed chocolate Munchkin goes in the middle to act as the spider, and it’s complete with white or dark orange icing to make the eyes. Yes, that means you get a donut and a Munchkin. It’s all treats with this one!
You’ve probably noticed that some of Dunkin’s most popular donuts get color makeovers with the holidays, and that’s no different from Halloween. The Vanilla Frosted Donut will have Halloween sprinkles, and the Boston Kreme Donut and Double Chocolate Donut will be dressed up with a Dark Orange Drizzle.
The Spicy Ghost Pepper Donut, Spider Donut, and other Halloween-inspired donuts are expected to hit stores on Oct. 14. However, some locations have rolled them out early, so you might be in luck before the official launch in a couple days. Just remember to have that milk nearby, just in case …
