27 Apr – "Dukun" continues to summon up more success as it has raked in more than RM10 million after almost four weeks of screening in cinemas.

The exciting news was posted on Astro Shaw's Facebook; the Dain Said-directed movie is the second highest-grossing local movie this year, sneaking up just behind Syafiq Yusof's "KL Special Force", which managed to collect over RM11 million.

Prior to this, the decade-long banned movie created a phenomenon when it received an impressive RM6.2 million after only four days since its release.

"Dukun", which was supposed to be released in December 2007, was banned from being screened in cinemas because it was said to offend the victim's families as the movie was inspired by the high-profile murder case of Mona Fandey.

It stars Datin Umie Aida, Faizal Hussein, Namron, Bront Palarae, Elyana, Sofi Jikan, and Hasnul Rahmat.

The movie, released on 5 April, is still showing in cinemas.
