Dry Conditions and High Wind Create 'Critical Fire Weather Danger' for South Dakota

A grass fire forced the shutdown of part of Interstate 90 in South Dakota on Monday, March 29, as the National Weather Service (NWS) warned of critical fire weather danger.

Chet Edinger posted video showing the aftermath of the grass fire, which caused the South Dakota Department of Transportation to shut down I-90 from Exit 150 at Kadoka to Exit 192 at Murdo.
