Drones light up the sky over WW2 monument in Russia

Glowing drones flew in formation to represent images related to WW2, ending the show with a giant dove of peace hovering above the spectators.

Russia commemorates Victory Day on May 9.

In 2020, the traditional parade was postponed to June due to the COVID-19 threat.

This year, the authorities have decided to conduct the parade on the usual day, but postpone the "Immortal regiment" - a traditional march where people walk with portraits of WW2 fighters - until June.
