A photographer based in Florida captured footage of a school of lemon sharks with his drone, as the animals were swimming off the shore of Jupiter Island on July 19.
The aerial footage, recorded by Paul Dabill, shows the school swimming in the clear waters of Florida. Dabill said the sharks come across a swimmer, a couple of eagle rays, and a blacktip shark in the video.
“I fly my drone at this beach frequently,” Dabill told Storyful, “I almost always see sharks. This time of year is unique because the lemon sharks are around and come close to shore.”
Dabill added that the water was particularly “calm and clear” on the day of the recording, allowing for “stunning” footage of the aquatic life. Credit: Paul Dabill via Storyful
