Drone footage captured the extent of snowfall in Buffalo, New York, on December 25, amid a deadly winter storm.

This footage, filmed by Earl Reynolds, shows cars and homes blanketed by thick snow on Jefferson Avenue in Buffalo.

The National Weather Service reported a measurement of 51.5 inches of snow at the Buffalo Airport by Tuesday afternoon. The service warned that warming temperatures posed a risk for minor flooding later in the week. Credit: Earl Reynolds via Storyful
