Drone footage shows destruction in Kharkiv
STORY: Everywhere you look, buildings are partially collapsed with black burn marks on the walls, blown out window frames and roofs punched by shells.
Glass shards, rubble and personal possessions litter streets, yards and playgrounds.
Saltivka neighborhood, which had been home to about 300,000 people before the invasion, bore the brunt of Russian shelling of Kharkiv, a city which had a population of 1.4 million people before the Russian invasion drove many to flee.
Russia calls its actions a "special military operation" and has repeatedly denied targeting civilians.
