Drone Footage Shows Chernihiv School Reduced to Rubble by Russian Strikes

A high school in Chernihiv city, northeast Ukraine, was reduced to rubble following heavy shelling by Russian forces, video filmed on June 10 shows.

Drone footage captured by journalist Sergio Olmos shows the ruins of a school on Tsymbalista Street.

“Russian forces shelled this high school, you can see broken desks inside blown out classrooms. The aftermath of Russia’s 39 day siege of Chernihiv, Ukraine,” Olmos wrote on Twitter.

According to a report by Human Rights Watch, the attack was carried out in early March. The report asserted that the shelling targeted civilians and was “in clear violation of the laws of war.”
