Aerial footage from November 3 shows close-up views of ‘bombs’ of lava erupting from La Palma’s Cumbre Vieja volcano, the Spanish Geological and Mining Institute said.

As of November 2, the volcano’s lava flow had destroyed 2,613 buildings and covered 997.9 hectares (3.9 square miles) of land, according to the European Union’s Copernicus radar program.
