Drew Barrymore pauses talk show game to eat $500 lollipop off floor: 'Judge me all you want!'
The expensive treat was made of "edible platinum flakes, vintage 2013 champagne, and cane sugar imported from Colombia."
Drew Barrymore is refusing to let any food go to waste — especially if it’s a $500 lollipop.
During Monday’s episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, the host played a Price Is Right-esque game with guest 50 Cent that required him to analyze two similar items and decide which one was cheaper. He was doing reasonably well until the third round, when the Expend4bles star was confronted with two almost identical lollipops.
The "Candy Shop" rapper, who was born Curtis James Jackson III, initially believed that the pair were the same price until Barrymore flipped over their tags and revealed that one was $10 and the other was $500. Gobsmacked by the revelation, 50 Cent declared, “I don’t know who’s eating that lollipop.”

The answer was both of them, because Barrymore immediately smashed the treat against the table and handed him a piece. “I’m sorry, but we have to understand why,” she explained as the pair began to snack on the sweet. 50 Cent noted that it was “good" before adding, “but why $500?”
As it turns out, the expensive edible was made specifically for the show by the famous New York City restaurant Serendipity 3 and featured some price-tag raising ingredients.

“I’m sorry that I broke it, but I’m still a little nervous like, I should be hygienic about it, which is funny,” Barrymore said. “It has edible platinum flakes, vintage 2013 champagne, and cane sugar imported from Colombia." Turning to 50 Cent, she added, "Would you ever pay $500 for a sucker?”
50 Cent, however, was still stuck on the lollipop bits that had been left behind. “No, but I feel like that right there was a hundred dollars,” he said, before pointing, presumably, toward a chunk of the lollipop that had flung off camera.
In response, Barrymore then scrambled over to the side of the stage, where she picked up the smashed fragment. “I know. Here, I’ll just eat it,” she said, popping it into her mouth as 50 Cent laughed. “I don’t care. I eat off the floor. You can judge me all you want!”
The pair then progressed to the final round, where he successfully identified a lab-grown diamond from two separate rings.
“You got two out of [four] and so that means, ironically, you got 50 percent!” Barrymore teased at the end of the segment, before gifting the crowd gift cards to Angara Jewelry in celebration for 50 Cent's performance.
