A driver honked his horn to warn others as his truck with brake failure sped along a road in northern China, crashing into cars and lampposts. Scary CCTV footage from the city of Taiyuan in Shanxi Province on November 16 shows the out-of-control truck driver honking as his vehicle sped along a road and smashed into stationary vehicles parked on the roadside and also into utility poles. The truck did not stop until it crashed into a thick high-voltage utility pole and flipped. Three people were injured and sent to hospital for treatment. Six vehicles were damaged in total, while surveillance cameras, power supplies, lampposts and other facilities were damaged or destroyed. Due to the damage of power supply facilities, the nearby areas suffered a power outage.The emergency repair workers worked overnight to get the power supply back at around 5am on November 17.
