Draco Who? Tom Felton Dressed Up as Harry Potter for Halloween (Photo)

·1-min read

Only on Halloween do you have the opportunity to walk in someone else’s shoes – or, in Tom Felton’s case, someone else’s robes.

The actor, who portrayed the role of Draco Malfoy in the “Harry Potter” franchise, ditched his character’s Slytherin uniform to dress up as his onscreen nemesis, Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe). In an Instagram post on Monday morning, the 34-year-old was pictured wearing a Gryffindor tie, black and red wizard robes, and Harry Potter’s signature round glasses and lightning-bolt scar – over a T-shirt, pants and sneakers.

His dog, Willow also got into the spirit with a red and yellow Gryffindor scarf. In the photo, she’s looking in Felton’s direction, hence the caption “wtf dad.”

A second cheeky post from the night before pictured Willow curled up in the scarf above the word “fml” next to an emoji snake, Slytherin’s mascot.

Fans of the J.K. Rowling franchise have come to rely on Felton for his frequent “Harry Potter” references. He’s dressed up as Draco for past Halloweens. Most recently, he donned a Slytherin scarf three weeks ago, and he’s often pictured posing in front of Harry Potter stores or cracking themed jokes on his social media. He even announced that he had hit 22.2 billion views on TikTok with a photo emblazoned with “#DracoTok.”

Although Felton may have forsaken Draco for the night, he gave props to those who carried on the torch in his Instagram stories, where users recreated his and other characters’ various looks from the films.

He may have gone Gryffindor for the night, but it’s only a matter of time before Felton (and Willow!) revert back to his old house.
