Dr Zoe Williams has shared her baby boy's name while giving more details about his arrival into the world three weeks ago.

The This Morning doctor announced last week that she and partner Stuart McKay had welcomed their first child together.

They've named the tot Lisbon Lion Williams-McKay after meeting at a bar in Portugal's capital city 20 months ago.

“We had picked out the name Lisbon very early in our relationship, before he was even conceived,” Dr Zoe told Hello! magazine in a new interview.

The baby made a quick entrance as he arrived before the midwife was able to reach their home in south London.

“I had planned on a home birth, but as it turned out, there wasn’t much choice because he came quite quickly," she explained. “It was a beautiful moment when Stuart and I were facing each other in the (birthing) pool, we looked down and he was there in the water.

“I picked him up and we had five minutes where we held him, before even checking if he was a girl or boy.”

McKay added the birth of their son, who weight 8lb, was "far from" stressful despite the circumstances.

Dr Zoe is intending to take a year off from work as an NHS GP but is hoping to make a This Morning return sooner.

She announced her pregnancy in January, saying she had been keen to become a mother for some time and had considered using a sperm donor before meeting McKay.
