Dr Wan Azizah surprises guests at wedding dinner, fans bride and groom (VIDEO)
KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 30 — Online users were amused to see the prime minister’s wife Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail fanning a bride and groom and their guests.
In a viral TikTok video, the Bandar Tun Razak MP was seen greeting attendees warmly with her signature fan at a wedding dinner in Bukit Cheras, Selangor.

According to wedding photographer Wan Amirul Ashraff, the former deputy prime minister was one of the guests of the bride yet she made sure everyone was fanned.
Wan told mStar that he was surprised when she seemingly appeared ‘out of nowhere’.
“I was shocked when she greeted the bride and groom, maybe she knew the bride,” Wan said.
“She wished them well and told them not to stand up as she was already leaving for another function.”
Wan also expressed his admiration for Dr Wan Azizah’s modesty in making sure everyone had a chance to greet and take photos with her.
He isn’t alone in this sentiment as many online commenters were charmed by Dr Wan Azizah’s kind gesture.
“Everyone gets fanned. Dr Wan Azizah is so cute!” one user wrote.
“Kak Wan and her fan are truly inseparable,” another user said.
One user even shared how Dr Wan Azizah wore the same baju kurung 12 years ago when visiting her mother’s house in Johor.
“I’ve spoken face to face with the prime minister’s wife when I worked in PJ, she is very kind and humble,” another user recalled.
