Dozens of Wildfires Burn Uncontained in New South Wales

Dozens of uncontained bushfires continued to burn in New South Wales despite rain and stormy conditions in some areas, the state’s fire service said on the evening of Saturday, November 23.

In total there were 64 bush and grass fires, with 39 of them yet to be contained, the New South Wales Rural Fire Service said.

The first clip in this video shows a fire to the west of Howes Valley, near Putty, just north of the Gospers Mountain Fire, which has already burnt about 190,000 hectares.

The second clip shows a scan of the Myall Creek Fire, which continued to burn north of Maclean on November 23.
