Donna Kelce Talks Travis and Taylor Swift’s Relationship and Names the Attributes They Share
Mama Kelce dished about the couple's seemingly compatible personalities while on 'The Martha Stewart Podcast'
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have similar personalities — according to his mother, Donna.
In a guest spot on The Martha Stewart Podcast, an iHeartPodcast, the mother of two and grandmother of three sat down with lifestyle guru to chat about a variety of topics, including the relationship between her NFL star son and his music superstar girlfriend.
“They're both friendly,” Donna, 71, said. “They're both generous. They're both loving. They're both caring individuals.”
And while the Kelce family matriarch is seemingly optimistic about their future, she added a “time will tell” caveat.
Elsewhere in the podcast, Mama Kelce offered her perspective on how Travis, 34, and Jason, 36, match up in terms of their personalities, and called her youngest son a “fashionista.”
“It's more to put a smile on people's faces,” Donna said about Travis off-the-field looks. “At times, I mean, he'll dress the way he needs to, but most of the time he's doing it to make people laugh or to talk.”
All of which prompted Stewart, 82, to ask if he was a “show off.”
“Yes, he is,” Donna replied. “And he's very, very generous, [with a] good heart.”
Donna also shared that she and Ed Kelce worked as a “team” when their children were younger, waiting until Travis and Jason were done with college before divorcing, Donna noted.
Donna explained that it's "very, very difficult to raise children on your own," especially two sons with big dreams of becoming professional athletes.

"And with as active as they were, how do you do that on your own? So we decided that we would be married throughout the entire time that the kids were in the house, and that's the way it worked out," Donna shared.
