Who better than eight of the most iconic '90s supermodels to relaunch one of the decade's most iconic brands?

Today, Feb. 8, 2024, Donna Karan New York announces its return to fashion with a brand-new photoshoot starring Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista, Amber Valletta, Shalom Harlow, Carolyn Murphy, Imaan Hammam, Karlie Kloss, and Liya Kebede.

Besides bringing together eight industry legends for a shoot by celebrated photographer Annie Leibovitz (one can only imagine the schedule coordination involved), the "In Women We Trust" campaign celebrates Donna Karan New York's singular vision of "timeless elegance, empowered women, and accessible luxury—tailored for today’s women," per a press release. As Evangelista explained in an interview with the brand, “Donna represents strength and sensuality. You can be whoever you want to be."

Best known for popularizing the capsule wardrobe, Donna Karan New York's "essentials" line changed the way women dressed forever. “She introduced a new style of power dressing, which celebrated women and their bodies. That was her sweet spot, and it still is,” said Crawford. The new relaunch aims to capture that essence — and represent the company's past, present, and future.

Naturally, the team looked to the original Donna Karan New York for design inspiration, pulling vintage pieces and drawing details from the brand's substantial archive. You'll find modern classics like crisp cotton shirts, well-cut bodysuits, and versatile draped dresses in the collection, as well as hero pieces like a lightweight blazer inspired by Karan's "7 Easy Pieces" dressing formula.

The bottom line? “It’s not about the clothes. It’s always been about the woman in the clothes,” said Valletta.

Donna Karan New York's Spring 2024 collection is available globally on Feb. 8, 2024, on DonnaKaran.com and in select retailers.
