Donetsk police video shows injured woman rescued

STORY: The video, posted on Donetsk Region Police’s YouTube channel, shows officers carrying the woman from a basement using a blanket as a stretcher before placing her on the ground outside. The woman is then seen lying next to debris outside a destroyed building while a group of men assess her injuries and carry her to an ambulance.

The men can be heard asking the woman for her name, but she appears unable to answer.

A caption accompanying the video said the unnamed woman, from the Drobysheve village, was “in the yard when the Russian military began bombing”, and that the force of the shelling moved the woman “a few meters, she fell into the basement.”

The police force later said in a post on Facebook that the woman, though her condition was critical, is “now ok”.
