Donald Trump Jr. Would Like You to Know He and Kimberly Guilfoyle Will Always Have a ‘Special Bond’

As President-elect Donald Trump and his transition team are managing plans to get his second term in the Oval Office up and running, Donald Trump Jr. and his team (or, presumably, at least a public relations professional) are managing the transition out of his relationship with Kimberly Guilfoyle.

Case in point: an exclusive statement provided to Page Six on Friday in which he spoke lovingly of his former fiancée, highlighting their “special bond” and adding that “Kimberly and I will never stop caring for each other.”

Earlier this week, The Daily Mail had published a second set of loved-up paparazzi shots showing Trump Jr. and Palm Beach socialite Bettina Anderson on a date. (An earlier batch of photos had dropped in September, reportedly catching Guilfoyle off guard; Anderson had also attended the 2024 Republican National Convention a month prior, where she sat right behind the then-still-publicly-together couple.)

Trump Jr. has since taken more “official” steps to bring Anderson into the family fold—in person and in the tabloids, of course. She was introduced over dinner at Mar-a-Lago this week, amid a flurry of reports that the Trumps never really liked Guilfoyle anyway—and also that she was badly dressed. So much for that MAGA makeover!

Neither Trump Jr. nor Guilfoyle have officially confirmed their separation, but perhaps you don’t need to do so when you find yourselves split literally by the Atlantic Ocean—Guilfoyle has been nominated by her (almost) former father-in-law as his ambassador to Greece. It’s a country she once insulted in no uncertain terms, but still.

Trump Jr. previously said that Guilfoyle would be an “amazing leader” in the role, and elaborated on his support for sending her some 5,600 miles away in his statement to Page Six: “The people of Greece are getting an absolute star and now the whole world will see it more than ever,” he said, adding that “no one deserves this ambassadorship more than she does.”

Technically, Guilfoyle will need her new gig confirmed by the US Senate, but surely she deserves a break amid her break-up? Let her eat, play, diplomacy era commence.
