Donald Trump Jr. Brings New Girlfriend Bettina Anderson to Mar-a-Lago for New Year's Eve Celebration

The new couple were first spotted holding hands in early December, before Don Jr.'s split from longtime fiancée Kimberly Guilfoyle had been revealed

Donald Trump Jr. and Bettina Anderson arrived together at Mar-a-Lago on Tuesday, Dec. 31, to celebrate the former first son's birthday and ring in 2025.

The eldest son of President-elect Donald Trump — who turned 47 on the last day of 2024 — brought Anderson as his guest to the Trump family's New Year's Eve celebration in Palm Beach, Fla.

The couple's appearance comes weeks after they were spotted holding hands in public, after Don Jr. reportedly split from longtime fiancée Kimberly Guilfoyle.

The New Year's Eve celebration at Mar-a-Lago also saw arrivals from President-elect Trump, incoming first lady Melania Trump, Vice President-elect J.D. Vance and soon-to-be government efficiency lead Elon Musk.

According to Daily Mail, attendees at the New Year's Eve party sang "Happy Birthday" to Don Jr. at one point in the evening.

Also at the celebration, Donald spoke to reporters about aspects of the upcoming political landscape. He reaffirmed his support for the reelection of Louisiana Rep. Mike Johnson as House speaker and said he remained confident in his Cabinet nominees.

Don Jr.'s personal life made headlines in December when he was publicly spotted with Anderson while seemingly still engaged to Guilfoyle, whom he proposed to on New Year's Eve in 2020.

Just one day after Don Jr. and Anderson were seen together, Guilfoyle was nominated as the U.S. ambassador to Greece.

PEOPLE learned shortly afterward that Guilfoyle and Don Jr. had broken up, according to a source close to the Trump family. However, the source said, the split was amicable and the Trump family still holds her in high regard.

Guilfoyle was content with the ambassador nomination, the source also claimed.

Another source close to the family said Don Jr.'s new girlfriend was likely to impress Donald, which has always been important to Don Jr. The socialite fit better with Don Jr.'s family, the source said, citing that she's in "Waspy circles of Palm Beach."
