Heat indices soared into the 100s in Wisconsin on Tuesday, June 14, as the National Weather Service (NWS) warned residents to limit their time outside amid the hot and humid conditions.

A heat advisory was in effect for Kenosha until 8 pm Wednesday, according to the NWS. The temperatures and humidity forced the cancellation of Kenosha after-school activities, according to local reports.
