Dixie Fire Reaches 700,000 Acres as Firefighters Continue Battle

The Dixie Fire burning in Northern California reached 700,630 acres (1,095 square miles), officials said on August 20, as crews continued their battle against the blaze.

This footage, posted by the Santa Barbara County Fire Department on August 19, shows firefighters cutting down a tree as part of the efforts to contain the wildfire.
