Jordan Banjo has opened up about having to delay his wedding plans.

The Diversity dancer proposed to partner Naomi Courts in January, getting down on one knee on a beach in the Maldives.

Speaking exclusively to Digital Spy about his wedding planning, Jordan said: "It's had to knock everything back a bit.

"Our plan was to do Greatest Dancer, then once that ends and the boys aren't performing and Dancing On Ice ends, we have a couple of months.

"Obviously we had Kiss [Breakfast], but things calm down a bit so we could do some wedding planning.

"But I think the weekend Greatest Dancer finished, we went into lockdown. So we didn't have time to play anything or do anything and now we've got breakfast radio and it's all happening."

Jordan continued: "It was the same case when I proposed. I wanted to propose for a while, but something kept happening and now there's a pandemic, it's had to push all the plans back a bit."

"Fingers crossed we'll get there," he said. "At this point, she'd get married in the kitchen to say we are actually married."

This year saw the former I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! contestant take over Kiss Breakfast alongside fellow Diversity member Perri Kiely.

"There is a lot of pressure to it but there's also a side of it where we are coming in from a different point of view," Jordan previously said.

"We're not born and raised in the radio world and we've learnt as we've gone and adapted our relationship to fit on air which has been wicked."

Kiss Breakfast with Jordan and Perri is on weekdays from 6am.
