Disney+ has returned to filming on the 'Loki' show
Disney+ has got the ball rolling once again on Loki, as Gugu Mbatha-Raw confirms that shooting has resumed in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
The 37-year-old British star told Forbes that filming is back underway in Atlanta on the secretive streaming series.
Her role has not yet been revealed, but the series will feature Tom Hiddleston as Loki using the Tesseract to alter history in the alternate reality created during the events of Avengers: Endgame.

“I was in the middle of filming when the pandemic happened, so I had a real break,” said Mbatha-Raw.
She added: “I’m obviously sworn to secrecy about everything to do with Loki, but it feels great to be back.
“Everyone is trying to do it as safely as possible under the circumstances, and it feels good. I’m excited. It’s a lot of fun, and I can’t wait to see it.”

The six-episode show was previously slated to arrive on Disney+ in early 2021, though it seems likely the delays will have changed the schedule.
Sex Education director Kate Herron is behind the camera, with the cast also including Owen Wilson, Sophia Di Martino and Richard E. Grant — the latter for just one episode.
Things have been busy for the MCU streaming shows in recent weeks, with The Falcon and the Winter Soldier returning to production and WandaVision debuting a full trailer.
There are still question marks around when these shows will debut, with Falcon and the Winter Soldier originally due to have arrived over the summer.

Marvel recently shuffled its cinema releases all over again due to COVID-19, pushing Black Widow to May 2021 and adjusting the subsequent calendar as a result.
Eternals is now set to show up in November 2021 — a year after its original release date.
