Dingdong Dantes says family shows come at the perfect time

17 Jan – Dingdong Dantes' decision to do more mature roles and family stories is not just because of his status as a father, as he recently explained.

According to Inquirer, the actor, who starred in family-friendly films like "Seven Sundays" and "Fantastica", state that age and timing also play a part in his movie choices.

"There are so many factors being considered. If these projects landed on my lap 10 years ago, I don't think these would be possible, because I was busy doing other things," said the actor.

He added that his lifestyle has already changed in many ways than one since he entered his 30s, got married, had kids, and that he is fortunate that such offers came during this new stage of his life, making it easier for his career.

It is noted that Dantes and wife Marian Rivera will be welcoming their second child sometime this year.
