Digital Spy announces Digital Spy Rising: 30 Black British stars of tomorrow
Meet the Black, British acting stars of tomorrow!
Digital Spy approached a panel of Black, British creatives and stars to curate the list you're about to read, their tips for tomorrow's stars. You won't get a better insight into the future of the British screen industry than theirs, and you can read their thoughts on the list and our guide to where to watch them – plus watch exclusive reaction videos from the shortlisted stars of tomorrow – in our digital magazine edition on Apple News+.
We'll give the last word before we get to the list to panellist Susan Wokoma: "When it comes to Black talent, we celebrate them too late, if at all. Too many times Black talent has to prove themselves on a large, international scale, after many years, before we go, 'Who is this extraordinary person?' Let's not overlook talent for too long."
